To play the note G sharp on the recorder we must cover with our left hand the first and second holes in addition to the back hole.
And with our right hand we will cover holes four and five and the sixth hole that is forked will be partially covered leaving the smaller hole free.
The note G sharp is enharmonic of the note A flat, so you must know how to write both of them on the stave.
